Advanced Discount Extraction and Price Adjustment for Retail and Wholesale

Enhancement Description: We've introduced a significant update that enhances our ability to handle complex billing scenarios typical of retail and wholesale companies. This update builds upon our previous enhancement, allowing for the accurate recording of List Price, Discount, and Net Price.

• Advanced Discount Extraction: Our OCR Training now allows users to handle bills that include a single note about discounts rather than listing separate prices. For example, if a bill states that prices reflect a 12% discount, users can:
  • Pre-Indexed Discount Line: Search for and identify the discount note line during OCR training.

• Inclusive Discount Adjustment: Specify whether the discount is inclusive of the listed price. If the discount is part of the price, our system will automatically adjust the prices it reads to account for the discount, ensuring accurate data capture.

• Separate Discount Line Calculation: Calculate the discount into a separate line item, making it clear and distinct from the net price.

This enhancement significantly reduces manual data entry errors and the need for complex calculations, ensuring that retail and wholesale businesses can accurately track true prices and discounts. This feature is particularly valuable for organized stores that negotiate discounts and need to maintain precise records of List Prices and Discounts.
