Document Splitting and Data Extraction Enhancements

Enhancement Description: We've significantly improved our document handling and data extraction capabilities, providing users with a more robust and flexible workflow. Key updates include:

• Enhanced Document Splitting: Our system now natively splits multi-page documents, especially non-standard or mixed documents from different vendors or emails, more effectively. Users can:
  • Tag a single invoice as a group, indicating there are more pages to extract.
  • Add a missing invoice by specifying a page range, allowing the reader to extract relevant data from the specified range. This eliminates the need for manual PDF splitting or screenshots.
  • Combine a group back into a single invoice.
  • Browse back to the top level of an invoice group by selecting Action > View Invoice Group without closing the window.

• Improved Invoice Management:
  • Users can easily delete unwanted invoices at the tile level.
  • Easily switch a bill to a vendor credit, flipping the sign of the line item price and total. This is particularly useful for e-commerce, where credits are often shown as positive amounts rather than negatives.

• Advanced Data Indexing:
  • Users can now configure and specify a particular column in a table to extract data for fields such as SKU, Quantity, Price, Total, and Description. This is essential for accurately capturing data from invoices with multiple columns.
  • The reader will note the horizontal position of the columns of interest, ensuring consistent data extraction. This update handles cases where column headers may not be captured correctly or where phantom columns are created from merged/split cells.
