Inverse Selection for Invoice Items

We’ve added the ability to perform inverse selection of invoice items, making it easier to manage and manipulate large invoices. This feature provides a more efficient way to select items you want to exclude or modify, without manually selecting every irrelevant item.

• How It Works:
  • Select only the items you want to keep, then use the inverse selection option to select all other items.
  • Perform batch actions like deleting or collapsing the inversely selected items into a subtotal.
• Key Use Cases:
  1. Keep Subtotal Line Items: For bills where you want to retain only subtotal lines but MakersHub has extracted sub-line items as well, inverse selection lets you quickly delete all sub-line items.
  2. Simplify Long Invoices: For lengthy bills, retain key items like sales tax, shipping, or handling, and collapse all other line items into a single subtotal for clarity.
• Additional Features:
  • Once items are selected, you can Click to Copy the total quantity or amount of the selection for calculating taxes or other tasks.
