Improved Sidebar and Navigation Experience

We've made significant updates to the sidebar and overall navigation of the platform, setting the stage for future enhancements like Purchase Orders (PO) and Item Receipts.

1. Enhanced Sidebar Navigation

• Full Financial Navigation: The sidebar now displays the entire Financial tabs menu, along with all sub-navigation options.
• Faster Access: Users can now reach any page in a single click, compared to the 2-3 clicks previously needed (e.g., accessing Archive Payments).
• Hover Popover Feature:
  • When the sidebar is collapsed, hovering over it will reveal the full navigation, allowing quick access to specific pages.
  • This feature is also available on mobile view, improving navigation on all devices.

2. Improved Mobile Navigation

• Mobile-Ready Enhancements: The sidebar improvements provide a clear path to support more mobile capabilities as the platform evolves.
• Future Updates: Some mobile pages will receive additional enhancements, but this update creates a solid foundation for building out advanced mobile features.

3. True 1-Click Navigation

• Auto-Expanding Sub-Navigation:
  • When the sidebar is open, hovering over the Financial tab will automatically expand the sub-navigation.
  • This offers a true 1-click experience, allowing users to get exactly where they need to go without extra steps.

These improvements make navigation faster, reduce clicks, and create a more intuitive experience—whether on desktop or mobile—enhancing your workflow and efficiency!
