Smarter Exclusions for Auto-Forwarded Documents

With higher processing volumes and many users configuring auto-forwarding, we’ve introduced smarter exclusion controls to reduce false-positive document processing and unnecessary manual reviews.

1. Addressing Unwanted Document Processing

• Many vendors auto-send additional non-invoice documents (logos, boilerplate files, attachments that don’t need processing).
• Auto-forwarding often sends these unnecessary files into the system, increasing processing burden and requiring users to manually review and reject them.

2. Advanced Exclusion Settings

Previously, we allowed excluding files by image size, but that wasn’t enough to cover all cases. Now, users can exclude files based on:

✅ File Type + Size → Example: pdf:125000 (excludes PDFs that are exactly 125 KB)
✅ File Size Only → Example: 30000 (excludes any file of this size, regardless of type)
✅ File Type Only → Example: jpg (excludes all JPGs)
